I have owned my Grasmere's since Christmas Eve and they have been very well used ever since!
I absolutely love them. I wear them everywhere; i ride in them, i walk through rivers in them, i muck out in them and i also wear them shopping. Lets just say they are my absolute must have.
I have owned several 'proper' riding boots since these were bought and nothing compares. I look forward to putting these on whereas i loathed wearing the 'proper' riding boots.
Unlike most boots these don't require a painful break in which was a plus for me having owned a pair of Mountain Horse Sportive's which still haven't been broken in after a year of ownership (have sold them). Mine have also dropped considerably but not so much that they look silly. The suede on them has lost it's water beading waterproofness, they are still waterproof but they just go darker as they soak up the water rather than repelling it.
They are extremely comfortable and very warm but i can still wear them in the hotter days of an English summer!
They are a very reasonable price too, if you shop around you can get them for around £180 which is what I paid for them.
In conclusion they are a very good investment if you want an all round boot which serves as a brilliant winter boot!
